Simon, Gerry, Chris and Peggy will be off to europe in November touring Alan Simon's musical extravaganza, Anne de Bretagne.

View From The Van 2010

As I write this, we are in the van on our way up to play at The Sage in Gateshead - what a lovely prospect - much better than the prospective view as I gaze outside - all damp and quite foggy. Still our van has very comfy pilot seats and rather effective concealed halogen lighting so various activities such as reading, writing, (arithmetic?) can be carried out as in ones own front room, aided even more by the super smooth driving skills of our very own Mick Peters!

I'm really enjoying the gigs, and the new numbers in the set. A huge thank you to everyone who has come to the shows so far. Keith and Flossie are a top start to the evening.
We played The Stables at Wavendon a few days after the sad passing of Sir John Dankworth - what an amazing legacy he has left behind. Ric gave a very touching dedication of his new instrumental "Danny Jack's Chase" in memory of Sir John......... R.I.P. More...
